Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum
Story of Texas
Spearheaded by former Lieutenant Governor Bob Bullock, The Texas State History Museum has become a must-see destination since its opening in 2001.
Educational exhibits, many of which challenge myths and misconceptions, tell “The Story of Texas,” organized around the themes of Land, Identity, and Opportunity.
The museum begins with first encounters with Native Americans and ends with a trip to the moon. Catch some historical highlights in the film Star of Destiny shown at the Texas Spirit Theater.
