A plethora of tour companies run short and longer guided adventures across Australia, including the following standout options:

Intrepid Tours runs thoughtful, small-group tours ranging from two to 22 days, with both regional and multi-state itineraries and a number of hiking adventures.

Adventure Tours Australia also runs two to 22-day tours across Australia, with tours generally aimed at younger travellers.

AAT Kings are generally aimed at older travellers, with comfortable coaches operating both day trips and multi-week holidays throughout the country.

World Expeditions specialises in ethical, active travel, with one to multi-week adventures ranging from hiking and rafting to mountain climbing. Slower-paced food, wine and self-guided cycling tours are also available.
