Brisbane City Hall

Brisbane history & panoramic views

Refurbished Brisbane City Hall-1=

The goliath of Australian city halls, this sandstone show-off houses the progressive Museum of Brisbane, which offers fresh insights into the city’s backstory, culture and people. Past themes have included Brisbane’s music, fashion and literary scenes.

While here, take a free tour of City Hall’s sky-piercing clock tower for dizzying views of central Brisbane. More in-depth, 45-minute heritage tours of the building are also available though these must be booked online in advance.
