Kings Park

Unique native flora & skyline views

Perth Skyline

You’ll be taking in an iconic view of Perth from the city’s 400-hectare green lung, two thirds of which is protected native bushland. The inner-city park and botanic garden harbours over 3000 species of Western Australian flora, including the state’s official flower, the Red and Green Kangaroo Paw.

Kings Park Perth

Its most famous resident is Gija Jumulu, a 750-year-old boab tree moved here from Western Australia’s distant Kimberley region. Another highlight is the Federation Walkway, a 620-metre-long trail serving up city and water views and a soaring bridge stretching over a canopy of gum trees.
