Jasper International Hostel

Friendly HI hostel ($), but isolated & with some large dorms

The biggest of three HI hostels near Jasper, and located 7km south of town via the Icefields Parkway (Hwy-93) and en route to the Jasper Tramway – whose shuttle, from 611 Patricia Street, you can use to get to the hostel (May–Oct; $15 return). Taxis cost around $30.

Check-in operates from noon to midnight when HI members are charged around $30 for dorm beds and $80 for private rooms. Some dorms are pretty large and institutional and worth avoiding.

Facilities include kitchen, lounge and free wifi, but with no services in the vicinity, be sure to pick up supplies before you get here.
