Yoho National Park Visitor Centre
Yoho's park info & permit centre
Easily identified by its bright blue roof, the Yoho National Park Info Centre, lies just between the Trans-Canada Highway and the railroad tracks beside Field, BC.
Here you can view a couple of simple natural history displays and pick up all manner of local advice on trail and weather conditions. This is also the place to make bookings for Lake O’Hara; register for the backcountry and camping, pick up a useful free Backcountry Guide and buy topo maps.
The centre also has info on the activities, particularly free guided walks, arranged by local charity Friends of Yoho (friendsofyoho.ca).
