Kids & Families
The Canadian Rockies are the perfect setting for an active family holiday.
Camping is made easy in a selection of large well-organised campgrounds, and there are plenty of trails that are perfect for Family Hikes.
Resorts
There are also all sorts of activities available at the region's Ski Resorts year-round, including Summer Chairlift Rides which get you high into the mountains without the sort of effort that's all but impossible for little legs.
Activities
Older, more adventurous kids shouldn't miss the chance to climb the Via Ferrata at Mount Norquay or spend a day on a Whitewater Raft. Various Hot Springs offer more watery fun.
Attractions
And while the Rockies are short on museums and set-piece attractions, travelling families shouldn't miss out on the cultural insight provided by Fort Steele Heritage Town, a recreated frontier town, and Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, the most important First Nations' site in the region.
