Tourist information

Although the Barbados Tourist Authority has an office at Warrens, they are not particularly geared up for tourists to drop in. Their official website, however, is an excellent source of information. Other useful websites include Go Barbados and Totally Barbados.

Otherwise, most hotels offer information at reception, or in a file in your room, while the larger resorts have an activities desk, which can provide you with all manner of information and book tours for you.

Events guide

For the annual major events on the island, first look at our festivals and events listings. Then, for the day-to-day activities – from kids’ camps to art exhibitions, karaoke nights to party buses or keep fit classes – check out the What’s On In Barbados website. Events are also advertised in the national press.
