John Moore's Bar

Classic beachside rum shop (b,l,d; $)

This classic wooden rum shop is bang on the beach (and the main West Coast road, it has to be said). Located next to a fish market, John Moore’s Bar is also a favourite watering hole of local fishermen with tales to tell. No cocktails here (beyond wicked rum punches and rum sours); this place really is all about the rum, and the vibe. There is very little seating and virtually no space inside ... you hang out and lime where you can. Just grab your drink and spill out onto the sand, to soak up the sunset.
