Chris' Place

Fish ‘n’ ribs ... (l,d; $)

Up from the West Coast, Chris’ Place is a super friendly rum shop, bedecked with football scarves and photos, where cricketers past and present drop by. Occupying a breezy spot on a plot of open ground, it has a spillover gazebo and picnic benches filled on a Friday night, when the vibe is at its best, with music (and sometimes dancing).

Friday-night ribs are the thing, but the grilled fish is tasty too. The place attracts a mix of Bajans, savvy ex-pats and holidaymakers. As for drinks, there’s Banks on tap and Chris makes a mean rum sour.
