Heron Bay

Most of the glorious soft sand to the south of the beach access is taken up by two sumptuous luxury hotels – the Colony Club and Coral Reef – whose superior sun-loungers spill onto the sand.

Sandwiched between the two hotels, several Hobie cats pulled up on the beach mark World of Watersports. While they predominantly serve the hotel guests, they are happy to rent out equipment to all-comers in low season. (e.g equipment) There’s some decent reef to snorkel in the bay.

The northern section of sand is overlooked by the opulent Heron Bay House Make sure you climb the steps on the beach to peek over the wall at this magnificent coralstone mansion and manicured grounds.
