This unpromising-looking shipping container at Folkestone Marine Reserve dishes up some simple but tasty fare. Huge rotis – enough for two to share – plus the usual burgers, fish and chips hit the spot, though the fishcakes arguably steal the show.

It’s also an inexpensive sundowner spot: savour a rum sour or daiquiri while seated at a picnic table, your toes in the sand, gazing out to sea.
