The longest established seafood restaurant in town, a meal at English's is an elegant dining experience. Photographs of famous diners adorn the wall and stories abound of a top-hatted ghostly figure who passes through the kitchen every now and again.
As for the food, the fish is freshly caught and delivered from Shoreham Harbour daily and the oysters are from River Blackwater in Essex.
The menu is innovative and dishes are exquisitely presented. The wine list consists of 110 bottles and includes locally produced and organic products.
