Olde Worlde pub (l,d; ££)
One of Brighton's oldest pubs, The Cricketers dates back to 1547. It was featured in Grahame Greene's 'Brighton Rock' and Jack the Ripper is said to have visited.
These days the pub retains its Victorian charm and also serves up some delicious pub grub. Enticing burgers, baguettes and mains are offered and the star of the show is the 'Build your own Ploughmans'. A great lunch spot.
