Croatia has a great range of accommodation, ranging from luxury resorts to private rooms rented by locals:

Budget

Offerings include Backpacker hostels in major cities and coastal destinations, seaside campsites offering tent pitches and bungalows, private rooms in local houses and private apartments with rudimentary self-catering facilities. Most rooms and apartments can be reserved via the usual internet booking sites (Airbnb and the like).

Mid-range

Mid-range options are dominated by higher-quality private apartments (that might feature swish kitchens and sitting rooms), upper-end campsites with ‘glamping’ options such as luxury tents and tree-houses, and moderate mid-range hotels that can be found throughout the country.
