One of the stand-out restaurants in Dubrovnik’s Old Town, Kopun boasts a superb location on a piazza looking towards the imposing facade of the Jesuit church.
The menu is based on a mixture of the traditional Dalmatian and the modern-European with plenty of seafood options, although it’s the roast capon (a popular dish in Renaissance times that they decided to revive) that’s the stand-out main course.
Another old Dubrovnik staple that Kopun has put back on the menu is Šporki makaruli, distinctive tubular pasta bathed in a goulash sauce - and an excellent choice for lunch.
