Padstow & Rock

Sandy beaches & fine food

Padstow

The pretty fishing port of Padstow is high on many people’s must visit list thanks to a foodie reputation and easy access to some gorgeous sandy bays. A quick ferry ride across the Camel Estuary leads to Rock, home to still more beaches and exclusive holiday homes.

Padstow

Despite the waves of visitors, Padstow is still a working port and watching the quayside bustle is an enjoyable way to spend some time.

For more insights into the fishing industry, head to the National Lobster Hatchery to discover how they’re working to preserve lobster stocks.

Jubilee Queen

The 40 year-old Jubilee Queen runs 1.5 hour boat trips (adult/child £15/10) from Padstow with full commentary on heritage and marine life.
