Wonder-filled underwater displays
At the UK’s largest aquarium huge tanks bring you aquatic environments ranging from the waters of Plymouth Sound to the seas of the Great Barrier Reef. The aquarium’s displays lead you on a voyage from the shores outside the window, via the nearby Eddystone Reef and the Atlantic Ocean to the Australian coast.
Exhibits
The aquarium is home to some 5000 ocean animals and displays include floor-to-ceiling, 650,000-litre tanks. Highlights include include stone bass, Inky (a curled octopus), Friday (a green turtle), Samson (a giant grouper) and five species of sharks.
