Princetown Railway Cycle Route
Peddle through scenic Dartmoor (6–18 miles)
The Princetown Railway Cycle Route offers two different trails that give you a true taste of Dartmoor’s dramatic scenery.
The 6-mile trail leads from Princetown along a former railway track that snakes through sweeping moorland, past disused quarries, beside ruined buildings and around exposed granite hills (called tors).
The 18-mile route then loops down off the moorland to circle Burrator Reservoir along minor roads before climbing back.
It’s graded as intermediate.
