Summer: June, July & Aug

wheat

This is the hottest part of the year within the East of England. The further east you go, the drier it becomes. Periods of drought and high temperatures have become a feature of the area during the summer.

Generally dress for warm, hot weather but bear in mind that it can get chillier especially due to coastal breezes in the evenings

Leisure attractions of all kinds from gardens to steam trains are open throughout the summer period.

Events

Key events include the Latitude Festival, outdoor concerts, Folk East and county shows such as the Suffolk Show and Norfolk Show.

Seaside Resorts
