Edinburgh Airport (EDI)

Waiting For Our Delayed Flight

Edinburgh’s Airport (EDI) is well connected to a large number of UK and European destinations and lies 9 miles (14km) west of the city centre and takes about 30mins to reach by taxi, bus or tram.

Transport

For airport run the main choice is between the tram (31min; adult single £7.50) and the frequent Airlink 100 bus (21mins; adult single £5.50), with the bus being a little cheaper and quicker and departing from nearer the terminal building. Once in the city centre (beyond Haymarket Station) they follow a very similar route.

A taxi between the airport and the centre costs around £30.
