Kosta
The Greek fast food (l,d; €)
Operating for over 65 years with a recipe that’s been passed down through the generations, despite its simplicity, Kostas offers good quality meat and fresh ingredients for its souvlaki and gyros.
Cubes of grilled pork, tomato, onion, parsley, tzatziki and fries fried in olive oil are wrapped in pita bread.
You’ll find every food outlet and restaurants serves souvlaki, but avoid the ones in touristy Monastiraki. Kostas pulls in the locals too, hence you know it’s a good place to get your Greek street food.
Daily 09:30am - 5pm.
Closed Sunday’s.
Transport
Syntagma Metro station (Red and Blue lines) and walk down Ermou Street to Mitropoleos Street and Agias Irinis Square (Saint Irene Square).
Try to get there before 3pm as Kostas is very popular and gets sold out pretty quickly.
