Thessaloniki: Wall by Wall
Hip bistro with views (b,l,d;€€)
This great little place in the Upper Town of Thessaloniki means ‘by the wall’ and is aptly named as it is literally located by the city’s old Byzantine walls with great views over the city.
Standard Greek fare, but with a twist–for example you’d get dolmadakia–stuffed vine leaves–but here they’d serve it with a mint mousse. They have daily specials such as sausages stuffed with graviera cheese and coleslaw.
Enjoy the eclectic menu with great views, or just a breakfast coffee.
