Hong Kong Science Museum
Family entertainment on a rainy day
I personally think the Hong Kong Museum of History across the plaza is more valuable for short-time visitors. However, science museums are always fun for children, and the Hong Kong Science Museum is no exception.
More than 500 exhibits (70% of which are interactive) on four floors mean plenty of activity for the little ones as they explore light, sound, motion, electricity, transportation, food science, energy efficiency, home technology and more.
Children can drive a car simulator, learn about human reproduction, and see their “twin” in the World of Mirrors, while parents will be equally interested in seeing how they fare with tests dealing with balance, endurance, blood pressure and other measures of fitness. A good family alternative on a rainy day.
