South Bend

Beyond Football

A bustling city located on a curve of the St. Joseph River, South Bend has a lot to offer.

Football fans will want to take in a game at Notre Dame and watch the South Bend Cubbies – oops we mean Cubs – a U.S. Class A minor league baseball team, based in South Bend, playing in the Midwest League.

It's the perfect place for a true fan to wallow in all things sports.

Besides spectator sports, South Bend also has great shopping, fantastic places to have lunch and a wonderful walking path along the St. Joseph River in the downtown area.

South Bend Chocolate Company

The South Bend Chocolate Company (SBCC) first opened in 1991 as a homage to the ancient sweet. It's here in the 38,000 square foot facility on Sample Street in South Bend that chocolate worshippers can get their full of samples as well as the history of chocolate at the company's Chocolate Museum during a tour called the Inside Scoop.
