Warsaw
Center of Kosciusko County
Warsaw, the county seat, is a thriving city whose historic downtown is centered around an Italianate 19th century courthouse.
While downtown, visit the Warsaw Biblical Garden, a glorious place abounding with masses of plantings that are mentioned in both the Old and New Testaments. Take time to stop at the tasting room at Ferrin’s Fruit Winery where wine is made mostly from fruit rather than grapes.
A must for Hallmark collectors is The Party Shop, a 12, 000 square foot Gold Crown Hallmark store which has the Jess Prudencio / David Hamrick Hallmark Ornament Museum and over 4000 Hallmark ornaments dating back to 1973.
Also be sure to take advantage of live performances at MasterWorks, a performing arts workshop for ballet, theater and music students from around the world. Starting late June and running through most of July, MasterWorks presents 40 performances for the community.
