Potawatomi Inn at Pokagon State Park
A Historic Dining with Lake Views
The interior of the historic dining room at the Pokagon State Park's Potawatomi Inn reflects the region’s rich Native American heritage. Leopold Pokagon and his son Simon Pokagon were among the last of the Potawatomi’s notable leaders hence the park’s name. The restaurant like the inn, with its northern fishing-lodge look, is one of the Midwest’s most popular resorts and conference centers.
The food served here is the best of Hoosier cuisine to be enjoyed against the beautiful views of Lake George and the landscaped grounds. A full menu is offered with buffet service on certain nights, as well as a bountiful Sunday brunch.
The inn itself is comfortable and cozy, the perfect base camp for enjoying the park and the surrounding towns.
