Museo Lázaro Galdiano
Fascinating eclectic private collection of art
An intriguing array of art, sculpture, jewellery, clocks and watches are amongst the treasures displayed in the former mansion of businessman José Lázaro Galdiano who bequeathed his collection to the state in 1948.
The mansion itself makes for a fascinating visit, but hidden amongst the miscellany of exhibits is some outstanding work from heavyweights such as El Greco, Bosch, Rembrandt and Goya and a stunning collection of Limoges enamels.
