Eating with Jemaa views

Marrakesh_03_069

A number of cafés and restaurants, and even the odd hotel, surround the Jemaa el Fna, some of which have upstairs terraces offering good views over it, if you can get the right seats, which may mean turning up early.

The best view is from the Grand Balcon du Café Glacier. A good second is the Café Argana.

The Café de France has a vantage point over the Jemaa's northeastern branch.

Incidentally, the Hotel CTM is the best place to stay for views over the square.
