Café des Épices

Modern café-restaurant with Rahba Kedima views (b,l,d; $$)

Café des Épices

The Café des Épices, aimed unashamedly at tourists, is a great place for a coffee or a snack while you're exploring the souks.

Morocco Marrakech-207

Located right on the Rahba Kedima, the Café des Épices hits the spot if you need to stop for a tea, a coffee or a juice. A house speciality is coffee spiced with cinnamon. You can accompany your beverage with an almond tart or pistachio brownie (30dh), and they also do salads and sandwiches (50–60dh). If you're hungrier than that, there are omelettes (40–50dh) and tajines (60–80dh).

Café des Épices

You can sit downstairs, right in among the throng, or head for the roof terrace, or the upper floor with its panoramic windows, for a more removed view of the bustle below. Either way, it's an unbeatable spot for a bit of people-watching.

Café des Épices

You can't deny that the Café des Épices is a tourist trap, but it's a nice one, well done, well located, and very handy.
