Lunch d’Or
Cheap lunchtime tajines opposite the church (b,l; $)
Lunch d’Or is one of a pair of simple diners just opposite the church, offering simple tajines (25dh) to local workers on their lunch break. They also have salads and brochettes (skewer kebabs).
By 3–4pm, they’ll have run out of food, although they’re still good for harira soup and mint tea till closing time. You can also come here for a simple breakfast of tea, eggs and msimmen (griddle bread); if you're lucky, they may even have bisara (pea soup).
Don’t expect anything spectacular here, but do expect simple, decent food at low prices.
