My Art is a large, cool space dedicated to modern Marrakshi design.
You won’t find anything hidebound and traditional here. It’s all bright and modern, and almost everything is made by local designers.
There are paintings and sculptures and off-beat objets d’art. There are soft toys and home furnishings, ceramics and lampshades, even sofas and settees, although you probably won’t be able to fit those in your baggage.
Browsing is easy here, prices are fixed, and there’s no pressure to buy. But even if you don’t make any purchases, it’s worth popping in just to see how Marrakesh can be innovative as well as traditional, and how much of a centre for design it’s becoming.
