Downtown Guéliz's most popular nightclub
With a Cuban theme, cigars and mojitos, Montecristo is the best and most popular nightclub in Marrakesh's downtown area (Guéliz, as opposed to the hotel zone of Hivernage).
Because Montecristo doesn't charge entry at the door, you can just pop for a casual drink, albeit a pricey one. It has a restaurant, a bar with live music early in the evening, and a dancefloor with DJs from midnight. For chilling out, there's a Sky Lounge terrace for smoking (shishas or Havana cigars, including Montecristo of course).
Although Montecristo is safe enough for women, be aware that it is worked extensively by prostitutes, and you'll certainly see lots of prosperous-looking older foreign men with young female escorts here.
