Bonsecours Market
Stylish indoor souvenir market
Built in 1846 as an indoor market to compliment the outdoor one on Place Jacques Cartier, Bonsecours Market later had a stint as the seat of Canada's Parliament and as Montreal's City Hall before being converted back into a market.
Today it largely peddles pricey souvenirs, but also has a nice unpretentious little cafe at its northern end.
The market's clean restrooms can also come in handy.
