Wilensky’s Light Lunch
Authentic 1930s diner
Doing today almost exactly what it did in 1932, Wilensky’s can rightly claim to be a Montreal institution.
Throw a leg over a bar stool at the counter and pick from a tiny menu whose cornerstone is the Wilensky Special ($5): fried salami and bologna served on a roll with mustard neatly packaged in a wax paper pocket.
Want to go even more old-school? Then pick an authentic egg cream to wash it down.
