Aberdeen Country Club
Tom Jackson design
Aberdeen opened in 1989 as Buck Creek. The course is modeled after the Royal Aberdeen Golf Club in Scotland. Only a short drive from North Myrtle Beach on what the locals call Number 9, Aberdeen Country Club offers three nine-hole courses designed by Tom Jackson. They include the Highlands, Woodlands and Meadow, with each having its own signature hole. Woodlands is 3345 yards; Highlands 3420 yards and Meadows 3306 yards.

There is plenty of water on this course, and holes play harder than they may appear when you first step on the tee box. There also are homes and condos near a fair amount of the holes, so it’s suggested to be careful about language and behavior.
