Spring: Mar, Apr & May

Spring begins in mid-March with occasional rain showers and warm sunny days luring everyone to extended beach gatherings and outdoor activities.

Each destination within the Myrtle Beach area offers outdoor festivals which are usually filled with free entertainment, kids' activities and plenty of street food and beverage as well as vendors with handmade wares.

St. Patrick's Day in mid-March is usually one of the first big events featuring St. Patrick’s Day Festival in North Myrtle Beach and another at Market Common in Myrtle Beach.

May brings Myrtle Beach Marathon which is an important event for thousands of runners who enjoy the marathon and related activites, and dancers will find several special weekends devoted to the state's official dance in North Myrtle Beach. Also, mid-May kicks off an annual motorcycle week of riding and entertainment.
