Summer: June, July & Aug

Summer is typically hot hot hot! The beach, the pool and other water activities are the major interest, especially for families with kids.

During the summer, many Myrtle Beach accommodations require a seven-day stay. Most families choose to visit during the hot summer months. Kids are usually on school break from June through August. Also, everything is in full swing with extended mid-summer hours.

National Holidays

The 4th of July is Independence Day and celebrated throughout America. In Myrtle Beach family picnics are outdoors in many neighborhoods, and daily beach fun is followed by free evening fireworks displays at many public locations.
