Winter: Dec, Jan & Feb

Meanwhile... Back in Myrtle Beach

While generally pleasant, winter in Myrtle Beach will often require you to don a jacket or sweater. Water sports are closed, although beach walking still is an important activity.

Visitors often take advantage of holiday shopping in the outlet malls and myriad of boutiques. Summer crowds are gone, and the senior pouplation is usually visiting for the season.

Check the theaters for new live musical performances which are featured each year.
