Eat Calabash

Calabash is well known for serving visitors its fresh local seafood, especially the Calabash-style platter which is fish and much more lightly breaded and deep fried. It really does come right off the docks visible from a few of the restaurants.

About a dozen casual eateries are within the village, and most offer sandwiches, soups, salads, and additional special entrees as well as the typical fried seafood.
