Located in Ventimiglia new town on the left bank of the Roya lining the road along the beach and spilling over into the town, the Friday market is an extravaganza of leather goods including shoes, jackets, belts and purses as well some cheap imitation designer clothes.
Great fresh produce
The purists argue it’s not what it was and maybe that’s true. However, everyone agrees that the fresh produce in the covered market is second to none and well worth the trip. Even better, this part of the market is open daily so you don’t even have to brave the crowds who stream into the Friday leather and clothing session.
