Boleto Turístico de Cusco
Cusco attractions pass; aka BTC
The Boleto Turístico de Cusco (BTC) is required to enter most archeological sites – at least the ones controlled by the Peruvian government’s Ministry of Culture. There are two versions of the BTC: partial and full.
Partial
The partial BTC costs s/70 and is what you need for the Cusco “City Tour”. One version of the BTC allows entry to the sites in and near the city of Cusco. The sites near Cusco are: Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Tambomachay and Puka Pukará. The other partial ticket is for only the Sacred Valley (below). Either one is valid for only two days.
Full
You can also purchase the full BTC which includes the sites for the Cusco City Tour, the The Sacred Valley and several museums for s/130. There are 16 sites and museums that you can access with the full BTC. It is valid for 9 days.
You can buy the ticket at any of the archeological sites. They only accept cash, no cards of any kind.
