Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel
The most luxurious hotel near Machu Picchu
This review is all positive, but it’s also genuine because Inkaterra Machu Picchu is the nicest place I’ve stayed anywhere in Peru. All of the rooms are luxurious and come with personalized service. They have 83 adobe casitas in the forest, on a 12 acre property.
I stayed in a suite with a fireplace, two private gardens and an outdoor heated pool. I’ve heard the spa is just as extravagant but I haven’t visited it yet.
The food is excellent, both the dinner menu and the breakfast buffet and menu. The coffee at Inkaterra is the best I’ve had in Aguas Calientes and there is also tea grown and cured at the property.
