St-Rémy: Restaurant Glacier de la Fontaine

Brasserie Glacier de la Fontaine (b,l,d: €€)

If the sign of a good restaurant is that it’s usually busy then La Fontaine certainly fits the bill! I’ve visited on several occasions and always had great food and a friendly welcome!

Shady tables

Le Glacier stands on Boulevard Mirebeau, part of the tree-lined avenue that encircles the old town. The shady tables adjacent to one of St-Rémy’s old fountains provide the perfect way to relax after a morning exploring the old streets and squares.

Specialising in seafood, local Provençal dishes and great salads all prepared using fresh local ingredients La Fontaine is also renowned for its choice of artisanal ice creams. In fact, the chef is a Maitre artisan glacier so treat yourself to one his delicious confections!
