Castle Stalker

Castle Stalker is one of Scotland's most scenically imposing castles, thanks mainly to its perch on a rock that's barely bigger than the stronghold itself.

But with the castle closed to the public, the best place to appreciate it is from the nearby Castle Stalker View Cafe (location of this entry's map marker) – for an inspiring view and a nice cup of tea.
