Denominación de Origen Protegida

Seal of quality

Pasillo Bodega II

Denominación de Origen (DO) is a seal of quality given to particular products whose quality or characteristics are determined by the local environment and whose production is carried out in a particular region.

Some of these are given protected status and are labelled denominación de origen protegida (DOP).

DOP products include meat, cheese, fruit and wine, including renowned regional foods such as jamón de Jabugo, Cabrales cheese, Rioja wine or cherries from the Jerte valley.
