Athens offers a plethora of diverse neighbourhoods for the visitor to explore, and being a small city, it’s not hard.

From the luxurious shopping streets of Kolonaki to the grittier streets of Omonia, from the areas rich in history around the Acropolis of Athens with its hidden ‘island within a city’ area of Anafiotika and the squares of Monastiraki, Psyrri and Plaka to the seat of the Parliament, Syntagma Square and its adjoining oasis in a city, Zappion Gardens, Athens literally has something to offer everybody.

It’s also blessed with a glorious coastline a mere 30-45 minutes from the city centre along the Athens Riviera.
