• Budget offerings include Hostels in several central NEIGHBOURHOODS and homestays such as Airbnb, also very centrally although this is loosing popularity now with great hotel deals.

• Mid-range options are dominated by small family run hotels that dot residential areas just beyond the city centre; and a few modern central chain hotels.

• Top end choices generally divide between vast noble offerings such as the historic Hotel Grand Bretagne in Syntagma Square and chain hotels nearby such as the Hilton, along with a choice of smaller high-end boutique options.
  Athens has been experiencing a boom in these and great deals can be found if you wish to treat yourself.
