Bondi Beach

Sydney's best-loved beach

Of all Sydney’s gorgeous beaches, Bondi is king, exemplifying the city’s obsession with sun, pleasure and beauty like no other. The waves are consistently good and the beach is bookended by saltwater sea baths for those who prefer to splash in calmer waters.

Always swim between the red-and-yellow flags; stretches patrolled by professional lifesavers. Gay guys gravitate towards the northern end of the beach, flaunting the fruits of their PT sessions. If you’re after changing rooms and lockers, you’ll find them at Bondi Pavilion, located above the central section of the beach.

Bondi Beach is also one bookend to the highly recommended Bondi to Bronte Coastal Walk.
