Mustor's

Traditional food at bargain prices (b,l; $)

Classic local fare at local prices – almost everything on the menu is under BD$25 and many items are a lot less. Mustor’s is a no-frills joint on two floors with plastic chairs, formica tables and limited ventilation.

Grab a table on the balcony upstairs (pictured), which is great for people watching. Being only a stone’s throw from the fish market, a fish dish is a good bet, but the stews, or fried chicken are just as good, especially when washed down with a glass of mauby (locally made drink with bitter aftertaste) or a chilled Banks.

The cooking is not spectacular, but the place definitely offers value for money. Being a bar too, there’s cheap rum and beer in abundance.
